Babylon Bronze Dahlia

This vibrant copper orange dinner plate dahlia variety features large, fully double blooms that grow a remarkable 11" across. Plant in rich, well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Stems are extremely strong, and blooms often will remain upright without staking. As with most dahlias, it will need to be lifted in fall in areas where the temperature dips below 35 degrees. Although, we have seen success in zone 6, when the tubers are planted a little further into the ground than normal, or with heavy mulching. For a more floriferous, bushy plant, remove spent flower heads. Snip off side buds and you'll grow large, show-worthy central blooms. Dahlia decorative 'Babylon Bronze'
