Black Tower Elderberry

Elderberry plants have grown in popularity in recent years—and for good reason. These lovely shrubs produce intensely flavorful fruits with rich, woodsy flavor, often used for making jams, syrups, and jellies. In addition to their berry yield, elderberries are simply beautiful. Black Tower offers the signature color palette, pollinator-attracting flowers, and tasty fruit of any elderberry, in a neat and upright habit. The foliage opens in celery-green in spring, maturing to a dark burgundy along near-black stems. Flowers attract butterflies, too. This shrub is self-pollinating, but planting multiple varieties can increase yield.
