Lemon Bells Clematis

This charming, compact clematis delivers color and interest from late spring to fall. Emerging from dark purple stems, lemon-yellow, bell-shaped flowers deepen into a buttery gold and turn red near the base—blooms hang down as if taking a bow. The flowers and seeds attract bees and butterflies. Once flowering is complete, attractive, fluffy seed heads provide additional interest along the vine through the end of summer. An open growing habit allows Lemon Bells to grow through large shrubs and small trees without disrupting their growth.
