Madame Lemoine Lilac

With incredible doubled flowers and an upright, cheery form, Madame Lemoine is widely regarded as one of the best white lilacs available. Abundant blossoms last for several weeks, appearing in early spring as creamy buds before opening to their full glory. With highly fragrant blooms on large panicles, this lilac is a great choice as a foundation plant or in a mixed shrub border. Try allowing a Clematis or other lightweight vining plant to climb the limbs of this tall variety, and create a dramatic display.
