Picture Purrfect Nepeta

Nepeta, often called catmint, is an early bloomer—it appears even before salvia—and Picture Purrfect is one of the first nepeta varieties to bloom. This blue-purple flower blooms two weeks earlier than other varieties, welcoming those early bumblebees, honeybees, and other pollinators to spring. Picture Purrfect's flowers are larger and feature a truer blue than others, with a compact habit and broad spread. When bruised or brushed, nepeta's leaves emit a lovely minty or sage-like smell.
