Rita Jane Hens and Chicks

These hardy succulents stand up to full sun, draught and even neglect—making them perfect for rock gardens and containers. Each rosette can reach up to 5" across at maturity, when it produces a single flower and then fades—giving room and energy to the new "chicks"—that is, smaller succulents—that grow around it. The grey-green foliage features a rosy base with matching red leaf tips for a delightful look. As long as it has full sun and great drainage, Rita Jane succulent can practically be ignored.
