Tauntons Yew Hedge

A well-placed foundation planting or hedgerow can really enhance a landscape—and creating one is easy with yews. These evergreen shrubs are low-maintenance, easy to prune and even add color and texture during the winter months. Tauntons Yew is a showy, compact shrub that grows 3-4 ft. tall with a 3-5 ft. spread. Its dense appearance makes it a favorite as a foundation planting or low-growing hedge. Its soft, green needles provide plenty of color throughout the year. Best of all, this shrub is easy to grow and drought tolerant, once established. While Tauntons Yew shrub grows best when planted in full sun to partial shade, it will tolerate heavy shade. Zones 4-8.
