Commonly called Black Chokeberry, Aronia Berry is so named for the tart taste of its fruit. While a fresh handful of chokeberries may not be the best idea, these black, juicy berries are delectable in tasty jams and jellies—and the shrubs that bear them are a delight year-round.

Aronia berry shrubs feature a large but bushy habit and oval, glossy green leaves with finely toothed margins.
