Westcountry™ Persian Slipper Lupine

Persian Slipper Lupine is a brand-new addition to our collection of Westcountry Lupine. Created in Great Britain, Westcountry Lupine have been bred for vibrant colors and strong stems, with extra-large flower spikes that won't collapse. Exceptionally long-lasting flowers, these Lupines bloom in late spring or early summer, and can last well into June or July. When the flowers begin to decline, cut and use these flower spikes in vases and bouquets, to encourage the plant to sprout more spikes of periwinkle color. You won't have trouble finding placements for these long flower spikes, which may reach two or even three feet in height. Simply stunning in blue and white bicolor, Persian Slipper makes a dramatic addition to any arrangement. Westcountry Persian Slipper performs better than most Lupine in warmer weather, and can even tolerate the more temperate zones of the South. Lupinus 'Persian Slipper' PP18733
