Little Lemons is a fantastic abundant flowering Clematis, as proved by its Gold Medal from Plantarium 2019. We think it's perfectly named to describe how charming the blooms look--Little Lemons is covered in petite, nodding, bell-shaped flowers in sunny yellow. We also love the fact that we can get two different garden features out of this clematis. It's compact, so you can start it in a container or hanging basket, where it will fill in and mature to a manageable mound. After one or two seasons, you can bring it out to the mid-border, where its gorgeous color and long bloom time will be strong assets. On the other hand, if you'd like to leave it somewhere to grow and shine for years, it'll also fit well as a ground cover or a sunny garden feature. The other big reason gardeners love Little Lemons is the long season--it flowers all summer and into fall. And before the dormant season the seed heads are interesting. Clematis
